You won't be disappointed. Taman Negara is considered to be one of the best bird watching spots and local species include Drongos and the Pied Hornbills. So if you are a nature enthusiast come ready with your camera and sketch-pad if you are artistically inclined. You will have the opportunity to observe a settlement of Orang Asli or Aborigines and learn from them - how to produce fire using Meranti wood and rattan, how to kill birds or other creatures by poisons and how to get safe drinking water from the liana trees.
